I just couldn't wait any longer to try this one. I bought the pattern several months ago at Quiltegården, and I just had to try to piece it together today. I didn't get it done, but I pieced the flying geese together, and tomorrow I'll handpiece the block together. This was quite time consuming, but very fun. The block is one from the pattern called "Gåsemor" by Sara Bolster. It is several of these goose blocks, and the other blocks is handpieced stars. It was not easy to find fabrics with the right colors, but I think these will do well together. Time flies so fast when you're having fun, and soon it's midnight, and I just have to jump to bed. It's work tomorrow for me and Hubby, and first day at school for the kids after a long and lovely Christmas vacation. It has been a cold day today like yesterday, but we did spend some time outside anyway. It started snowing again tonight, and I hope it will not snow too much till tomorrow.
Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite:o)

Hey, you are a master hand! It looks so difficult but I believe that it is fun to do it. I haven't seen the pattern before so I hold my breath for seeing it at the ready :)
Just lovely, how many hours...?
Just one word to say Laila -- WONDERFUL !!
That looks amazing, I bet it was tricky to do. Well done.
Oooh! I love the twisty flying geese. Very pretty! Your efforts are very evident...and must be quite rewarding! Will you be trying more variations of geese?
Å, så fin! Ser komplisert ut dette. Så flink du er!
