Hand quilting

I've learned some of the secrets about hand quilting today, and it's so much fun!
This is what I did today, on the class Hanne teached. It's a bit tricky to get the control of the tiny needles, but once you've managed to do, you just wanna go on and on and on... Addictive!!!
I am quilting with a silk thread in silver with a touch of blue. Look forward to wash the quilt when I'm done quilting, to see the result.

Det ble noen timer med håndquilting på meg også i går ettermiddag kveld - dette kan man bli hekta på...Sterver med å få jevne fine sting, men øvelse gjør vel mester får man tro. Gleder meg til å se duken din ferdig, den blir kjempefin!

Quilting for hånd er veldig koselig. Det er som sjokolande, først begynt på - kan ikke slutte :o) Har blitt fortalt at de som er virkelige hånd-quilte-eksperter, varmer opp hver gang de skal begynne å quilte på mesterverket. Det er sikkert noe i dette, ser selv at det tar noen minutter før en har bevegelsen i hånda. Lykke til !! Hilsen Lena

Beautiful quilting!! I can't wait to see the finished results! I also use the small needles...also bought a Roxanne's thimble and it sure helped my quilting, as well! Much easier on the wrists and hands!
